476935	2006-08-07 22:47:00	Hiyaz, I have an annoying problem, whenever i right click a video file or the little nvidia icon in the task bar, the whole screen does a slow refresh, goes black for about a second then comes back. I can stop it doing this by turning my video accelerations settings off in display properties advanced tab but then i get an error message when i right click vid files saying: Nvidia display panel extension cannot be created i wouldnt like the error message when ever i right click video's and i also wouldnt like the screen to keep slowly refreshing, its harsh on the eyes. does anyone know how i can stop this? oh, graphics card is geforce4 mx 4000, at the moment its acting slower than the onboard graphics and cant even play movies without skipping frames. cheers	Jimmy D (2061)

I've seen this mainly with the 6200 series card. You can use this application: www.nirsoft.net to remove the shell extensions for AVIs and MPG files which will stop the redraw..	BIFF (1)
