| 477220 | 2006-08-08 23:09:00 | G'day all. I have been tweaking my computer and now it won't shut down. It goes to the "windows is shutting down"page and stays there. The mouse pointer sits about centre of screen and jumps to the top of the screen if i touch the mouse. And stays there. The "windows is shutting down" page stays indefinately untill I hold down the power button. It has happened before and I got rid of it with a system restore but I would llike to avoid that if I could.Anyone have any ideas? | joemac (9739) | ||

| 477223 | 2006-08-08 23:28:00 | Well the only way you will find out is by restoring and then doing all tweaks again, making sure to test and restart for stability after EACH tweak, that way you will know it is stable and what caused the problem | The_End_Of_Reality (334) | ||

This install here is very bad, the previous install was good, but not great... I also have to agree with the second statement, I have tried to do some tweaking like this and HAD to reinstall as I couldn't even get into Windows... | The_End_Of_Reality (334) | ||
