| 477628 | 2006-08-10 10:49:00 | Ok my pc's sound has been glitching really badly when i open something eg : firefox. If i just run itunes by itself music only glitches slightly but i can still notice little clicks. Does anyone know what the problem is and if i can fix it. Im guessing it has something to do with how many programs im running but that shouldnt effect the sound? Edit: My comp is windows xp and i have 9gigs left on the hard drive |

See if it makes a difference. Or switch off ctfmon.exe using this program. Go here: www.mlin.net Get startupcpl and switch off some of the programs that you do not use all the time, like quicktime for instance, to ease the loading on your ram. Whilst you are there go to: www.mlin.net It is very useful for knowing what is trying to install itself on your computer. |
