| 477454 | 2006-08-09 23:08:00 | Funny you should say that. I installed a DSL-200 in a friend's place couple of days ago and it took from 3-5 attempts to authenticate his username/pwd. It was very erratic. I tried ringing IHUG but their phone went dead!! | linw (53) | ||

| 477459 | 2006-08-10 06:35:00 | I had problems on Tuesday, no ADSL in the morning and then later that evening got dropped off the net and wasn't able to pick up a new IP for about 30 mins. Been OK since though. | Jen (38) | ||
| 477460 | 2006-08-10 06:45:00 | Same here Jen. Rang Ihug and was told that there was a national and international outage. I connected to Ihug but no web pages would load.No time given for the problem being rectified but service was restored about mid morning. Fingers crossed, no problems since. | smurf (6545) | ||
| 477461 | 2006-08-13 00:39:00 | Hi Problems with Ihug early on in the week,Friday and even now pages are loading very slowly. I went to the dairy and back..15 minutes and a page still had not loaded. Not a flash page either..just a basic text thing. Get the disconnected thing a lot when I ring Ihug..and if I do get through as this morning it was the almost inaudible female voice talking about network problems. If you go to their website and check on network status they say no info is available. One thing I have found is that I'm reaching the 2mb limit real quickly and thats only doing email, trademe and ebay and search type stuff..no movie downloads,no music downloads. And now I'm paying extra to have to come here to find out what is wrong because the people who should tell me (IHUG) won't or can't. I'd hate to start looking at other providor options but I might well be doing that if these problems continue. They have made their homepage look new and flash (totally unneeded, the old one was fine) but maybe should spend some time on making sure their answer phones message are audible and that they can provide the service they say they will |
