| 477658 | 2006-08-10 22:47:00 | Depends on the DVD player, my "el-cheapo" DSE one recognises .jpg photos just fine and plays them as a slide show (using the "next" button). Depends entirely on the player, you may need to try it and see. Just burn as data to try it though. As for the number you can fit, a DVD disk holds about 4.7 GB (4,700 MB) of data. If your .jpg were 500 kB (0.5 MB) as an example it would be 9,400 photos. So please don't ask me round for a look at your photo album, we would be there all night....? |

| 477659 | 2006-08-11 01:32:00 | Happy to discuss via our usual channel if you wish... I fumbled through all these issues, and more, when I got my digital camera. I use a standard application that is part of XP to look at my pics, and works a dream. Buggered if I can remember the name of it now..... Copying to disc was not so much fun....but trial and error and my updated dictionary of swear words finally saw it sussed. That said, it (still) seems to be more complicated than it should be. I'll look closer tonite..... What O/S do you use? T |
