| 477525 | 2006-08-10 02:50:00 | I've got an ancient laptop running XP pro. Until recently the optical mouse attached worked fine. Now after booting, the mouse's underside light is lit up, but the pointer, buttons and keyboard do nothing. If I boot up in safe mode, all is ok. If I boot up normally, no keyboard or mouse. Any idea anyone..? |

| 477527 | 2006-08-10 09:18:00 | Hello there. Have you tried plugging in the optical mouse to another machine to see if the problem lies in the little creature? How "ancient" is your laptop? If I am not mistaken, XP Pro takes a lot of computer power to run it. Cheers :) |
