The agency, which also runs the United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT), sent out a news release on Wednesday recommending that people apply Microsoft's MS06-040 patch as quickly as possible. The software maker released the "critical" fix Tuesday as part of its monthly patch cycle. |

No wonder people get snarly about WIndows, you'd spend your entire time patching it one by one by one by one by.....until you die of boredom. Its like trying to make a bucket out of a sieve by sticking bits of tape over each hole. I have the basic security - a firewall, AV and AS. And have never had a security breach or virus or anything. And I get to spend my time doing other fun stuff with my PC............. |
