478278 2006-08-13 20:50:00 I can't remove a program called ZDWlan from my computer. I tried to uninstall it, but it still remained in the add or remove programs list. When I try installing it again, it starts uninstalling it. I looked for help on other forums, and I tried everything they told me to try, but no success so far.

Does anyone know how I can remove this program that WONT GO AWAY??

478279 2006-08-13 20:56:00 Start up in safe mode and uninsall it there. But are you sure the program is still installed. You may just have a Dll left in the folder and so the folder still shows up on yr "install, delete" list of installed apps. kjaada (253)

478282 2006-08-13 21:55:00 May be before going in to safe mode you should turn off system restore.
and turn it back on after you uninstall in safe mode. Also I see yr queries and answers on other forums. One other thing I did find was if yr using a Mac you must remove the wireless card before uninstalling the prog.
Hope this is some help.

Could you tell me how to turn off system restore?

EDIT: nevermind . I'll try it without system restore on .
