| 477990 | 2006-08-12 10:18:00 | Have found the above Trojan horse nasties in AVG scan results. AVG says it can't heal, delete etc. In C:\SystemVolume Information\_restore. Have found some information but as it is not my computer I want to be sure of exactly where to look for files to delete e.g. 'Wins32.Swizzor.bo does not create any directions.' Where do I find that? Will I have to turn off system restire, restart computer and turn sys restore on again? Found that info in article on PCWorld. Have checked for removal tools but they give a list of files to delete and I am not sure exactley where to look. Think they came in through paradise.net.nz!!!!! Thanks. | katharinem (3459) | ||

To turn restore on/off , right-click "My Computer" and select "properties". Then click on the System restore tab. There is a box there that is ticked to turn system restore on/off. |
