| 478132 | 2006-08-13 03:34:00 | a couple of minor irritants someone may be able to help with.[using Windows XP] 1. Control Panel/Accessability Options/Keyboard tab/toggle keys -check"use toggle keys" is great. Capslock sounds a beep when used (its usually used inadvertently!) But close down and restart & you have to reset Toggle keys to ON each time. (can do thru adjacent Settings button enabling shortcut use for Toggle keys = Press NUMLOCK for min. 5 secs). However the permanent ON setting without having to reset each time for the toggle keys wd be wonderful. Any way to do this? 2. I have installed a microphone ok but it has no on/off switch. Is there anywhere in the Op System that i can turn the mic to "on" when its reqd & leave it "off" when not in use? |
