Hi all, have a friend with this problem, any ideas. After boot a message comes up "The feature you want requires Word 2002 disk #1" (as near as I can remember) & she has to click cancel, this happens every time the computer is started. The trouble is she does not have disk #1, it was not supplied with new computer. Is there any way to stop this message.Thanks for any help. |

If Word was supplied with the new PC, it should have the CD's. It might be the "Works Suite" that was supplied, it includes Word and is on CD 1.
Word has never been supplied "pre-installed" without the CD's. If there really were no CD's I would be going back to the supplier. |
