| 478520 | 2006-08-14 21:47:00 | I assume that forward1.dat is an attachment, and if so, are they from somebody you know and trust Gary? If not just delete them. Otherwise they could be Word files. I have met this before, but off hand I forget the procedure for getting them back to .doc or why/how they get sent as .dat files at all. Cheers Billy 8-{) Edit: Check Here (ls.berkeley.edu) for the answer. Rename it as forward1.txt then open in notepad. That is safe because notepad can't execute code. |
