1406443 2015-08-13 00:48:00 Hi guys.

I have upgraded my new lappy to windows 10 and seems all good.

I have a Vista desktop with a quad core processor and 3 GB's ram and was wondering if 10 would run on it?

I have run heaps of Linux 64 bits on it and goes real well.

Is it possible to run Win 10 in the same way as linux, off a DVD?

I have a version of 10 as an ISO.

Thanks,

Ian

1406444 2015-08-13 01:14:00 Windows 10 may run on it but it may or may not work if you upgrade from Vista to windows 10. It may work if you do a clean install, but activating it after will be another matter Speedy Gonzales (78)

1406446 2015-08-13 01:22:00 If you wanted to run it like a live CD, the 90 Day trail has Windows to go. But of course it has to be installed on something first to make the "to go" option.

With only 3GB Memory, it could be to low to run in a VM.

Of course it will. You might have to do a bit of work to find some device drivers, or they might all install
by default.

You will have to BUY win10 for that laptop , there is no free upgrade for Vista.

Me lappys all okay.

Was on 8.1 and upgraded tp 10.

See,s okay, time will tell.

I understand there is a program to revert back to 8.1.

Is that correct and if so where I find it?
