1396152 2015-03-10 20:46:00 My opinions....

The calls/letters are a hoax - for certain. My thoughts...

* This ******** perportrator is of severely low intelect. He is probably not aware that the obvious suspects would be the employees working in the production process. They would have been vigorously interviewed by Police.

* He has a grudge against the use of the poison, so is clearly a misguided tree hugger.

* Fonterra are a pathetic example of New Zealand business who innappropriatly mis-represent our nation. That Dutchie CEO Theo Spierings should go back to The Netherlands and smoke his weed over there and furthermore, should be fined all his retirement fund for the damage he's caused our country. In fact maybe he should be jailed for not taking appropriate precautions over safety of our products.

* Fonterra CEO should fess up to why he delayed the announcement of the threat by three months. Their pathetic excuses (lies) as to why they did are blatant - all they wanted to do was to reduce the fear of lost sales due to the threat.

* NZ police haven't yet said when they actually received the information from Fonterra - is there some, um, collusion between police and Fonterra?

In summary, the police and Fonterra are equally as stupid and liable for the harm that this weak-knee'd piss-face who started this. I hope the sons-of-bitches all hang from the highest tree available.

1396153 2015-03-10 23:46:00 I see the NZ news media hyping this up all over the place. Just wait until the Chinese react and then there will be a procession of polies and Fonterra heads going to China to kowtow before the emperor. Doesn't work the other way when they send us asbestos ridden locomotives or freight rolling stock that's not road worthy and they have to send engineers here to fix them.. paulw (1826)
1396154 2015-03-11 00:25:00 :sleep :sleep :sleep :sleep :sleep Just another nutter whose efforts aren't worth reporting.

The Media must be bloody desperate to have to resort to reporting this rubbish.

John Key said the media weren't told straight away to allow the police time .

Or more likely to stop the rampant hysteria they generate .

Yep, only an idiot would try to stop 1080 poison by saying he will kill babies .

And Fonterra misrepresent our nation? I think they represent it exactly as it is .

1396156 2015-03-11 03:21:00 Not a few of the anti 1080 brigade are violent nutters unfortunately. I had a dog poisoned by a nutter who spread 1080 around the local reserves and parks some years ago. Then we had more nutters who slashed the tires of Regional Council Utes whilst a public meeting about 1080 was being held, then there was another nutter who fired shots from a hunting rifle into the council offices just down the road.

Going back a few years before the above events, there were more nutters who collected up 1080 and re-distributed about 1.5 km away from the drop zone, on what we call the Burnt Spur track on the Rimutaka Hill, to give the impression that it couldn't be dropped accurately.

.........and this is just within the Upper Hutt area.

I wouldn't downplay too much what a determined maniac could do. It has to be taken seriously, as seriously deranged people are involved.

1396157 2015-03-11 06:37:00 I doubt if the perpetrators will gain much sympathy for their cause by making threats that if carried out will involve innocent babies. Most Greenies will want to distance themselves from these sort of threats. Let us hope that the culprit is caught soon and dealt with severely. I believe that we are dealing with a nutter. 1396158 2015-03-11 06:51:00 Well if I were Key I’d have a chat with Fontera and put up a bounty for anyone supplying information which leads to a successful prosecution of this idiot or idiots.

$100k should test the loyalty of those who know. ;)

1396160 2015-03-11 07:53:00 On Talk-back Radio today they were saying when caught, don't treat them as a normal criminal case, because they would get a smack on the hand, don't do it again and if unlucky get to do some community work.

Treat then as terrorists, because that's exactly what they are: Then all of keys "security measures with terrorists " and everything its meant to represent can be put into action.
