1395492 2015-03-01 20:00:00 Anyone know an excellent Oesteo in Auckland? One with a reasonable Acc surcharge would help thanks. bruciebear (1478)
1395493 2015-03-01 22:44:00 Excellent?

There is little evidence that osteopathy is effective in treating any medical condition. In the UK, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence recommends osteopathy for the treatment of persistent lower back pain. Analysis of peer-reviewed research yields little evidence that osteopathy is effective for non-musculoskeletal conditions, and limited evidence that osteopathy is an effective treatment for some types of neck pain, shoulder pain, or limb pain.

1395497 2015-03-02 23:35:00 Maybe you can find exceptions. I went to an oesteo for a few neck and back issues from when I was 18 until I was 60. The same guy throughout, unfortunately he passed away. I can honestly say he fixed the issues, he was fantastic. Maybe I was lucky, not sure. bruciebear (1478)

The alternative was continued pain, some may prefer relief from pain and wallet.!

I associate massage with swelling too!.
