| 1396638 | 2015-03-19 05:25:00 | British English spelling is crazy! plough, pronounced plow as spelt in America. cough is not pronounced cow but koff tomato pronounced tomarto potato not pronounced potarto American spelling is largely phonetic and much easier to learn than English. At least the Americans are not allergic to the letter 'Z' |

| 1396640 | 2015-03-19 05:39:00 | Sorry but I disagree. as a Buddhist myself I have seen the poster and did not find it offensive. I have seen many statues of the Buddha used as incense holders or as garden ornaments by non Buddhists. Buddha was a man not god. I think MushHead has it right, if they did find it offensive a fine would have been more appropriate. Can't see why they want to waste money and time sentencing the offender to prison why not just confiscate his assets and then deport him? In Tanzania an Inspector of Works in the Railways was given 24 hours to leave the country for not replacing a photo of the President on his office wall after it was redecorated. Another was deported for putting a Flag on his Dog's collar. A lot of these deportations were just excuses to get rid of undesirable characters, both of them were old school British colonials. |
