| 1395688 | 2015-03-10 01:19:00 | Dremels are useless when in the wrong hands or used for purposes they were NOT intended for :( Do keep in mind that these are 'Dremel' clones to which I am referring, as are their accessories. For my very occasional usage I cannot justify the cost for a genuine Dremel. All I want is a second-source for reliable accessories that do not command 'Dremel' prices, and it looks like I should be able find them via sources kindly listed by members commenting on this thread. My uses are definitely 'light' and the only 'hard' task I have ever attempted was the cutting of an alternative screwdriver slot in the removal-proof steel screws securing a Yale type lock on an external door, which task, and despite the near-total impotence of most of the other tools provided, strangely enough was accomplished with ease using an el-cheapo cutting wheel.
