1395699 2015-03-04 18:13:00 On my (old, not smart) phone, you push the "extras" button to bring up % etc. pctek (84)
1395700 2015-03-04 20:04:00 The Calculator on my PC (%SystemRoot%\System32\calc.exe) clearly displays the % key :) Zippity (58)
1395701 2015-03-04 20:13:00 Turning on side gives me everything but %.

Same with the standard calculator on the Nexus 6

Weird, maybe it's a screen size thing. % is top right of the extra buttons that show up on my note 3 in landscape mode.

If it annoys you search calculator on the play store and choose one of the many free alternatives, that's the beauty of smartphones really.

Maybe you are just meant to use decimal equations instead :p, google might be helping develop your math skills.
They may consider it unneeded as percentage is pretty easy really, the button just helps simplify some equations.
You can do something like + 10 % or you can use decimal fractions and do x 1.1 and get the same answer.

Thanks Jo, will try that.

I think my point was, why is (%)it missing, as it clearly is, on early phones, I mean if we have to work out as Dug suggests ,why not you use an abacus.
