Its what Hirepool fit to their brand new Husqvarna and Stihl weedeaters before they even go out for one hire. They come with a selection of bushes to fit every size weedeater shaft. Cost around $18 made from solid aluminum. Pretty clever invention using KISS. Which one did you get? , it seems they have a few . Cable snaps where it exits (3.2mm square cable) . If you dont use it for a month or so, it can sometimes get very hard to undo. I spent 1/2 an hour last weekend trying to undo it(to fit new line) , using pipe wrenches etc .Lesson learnt, allways loosen it off when finished They dont give you the $1 tool to make undoing it easier (why??) , thats an optional extra thats not available from where I bought the Juey Ive bought some new cable, perhaps that will help me ? I havnt tried black nylon, maybee thats stronger . I'll probably get a Tanaka head . Bunnings Mitre10 dont have them, so I'll wander around the mower shops to find one. |
