Have a read through that, not sure if that's what you're after or not.

For me, I'd say distraction free without being uninviting would be the big one to actually helping me learn.

1395743 2015-03-05 20:42:00 To me. Distraction free, fun, and ease of access to relevant information gary67 (56)
1395744 2015-03-05 20:49:00 Thats the sort of question that WILL drop you in a power of trouble and can make you look stupid if you're not careful.

I'll Explain -- lets say you answer with something from either here or looked up on the internet -- NOW you are asked to expand and explain what you mean by the answer you just gave -- Errrrrr -- Ummmm hang on I'll look it up  See where I'm coming from ?

What you want to answer/ think about is what would be a good environment that YOU would feel happy, or make you want to learn. Use your own experiences and you can then answer any questions and follow up questions.

That type of question there is no 100% "right" answer, but they are trying to find out if you actually know what will be good / Bad, etc.

1395745 2015-03-05 21:00:00 That depends on who is promoting it. A lot of learning establishments often state that they offer an effective learning environment but results may show otherwise.
IMHO it would be where a person is encouraged, without having another's opinion forced upon them. Feeling totally at ease, free to seek advice, listen to others and accept that constructive criticism is not necessarily a bad thing.

1395746 2015-03-05 21:26:00 Thanks all for your input. @wainuitech don't worry, this is for research purposes only - it's not going to be my final answer! When presenting to a panel (or single interviewer) it's good to show the effort you've put in to research and find information about the topic you are preseting on :) lordnoddy (3645)
1395747 2015-03-05 21:26:00 Is this to be a learning environment for adults, children, individual or a group? Technical or written learning? Practical or theoretical? Tutored or self-taught? I would imagine the environment for each to be different, so we don't have enough information to be helpful. Richard (739)

Take it as you want. Like I said it's purely your thoughts on it :)
