| 479056 | 2006-08-17 21:50:00 | I have a Digital iTower 2600S. It has an auto power off feature whereby you shut down the computer in Windows XP and it automatically shuts down the power. The problem is it will not power up. I removed the front cover and there is a small box there that contains the power-on switch and a reboot switch. This has 4 pairs of wires that connect to the main board. There is power to the switch as the green light comes on at the switch but the machine does not power up. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks |

| 479057 | 2006-08-17 21:57:00 | Check power supply is OK - I usually just grab another one to try. Have a look at the capacitors on the motherboard, for bad ones (http://badcaps.net/). |
