| 478948 | 2006-08-17 09:15:00 | have recently upgraded to XP - in previous (98) there was a facility to choose the programme to open a file with i.e. open with - hilite and hold down the shift key while rt clicking the file (methinks) - is that facility available in XP? i think a reg tweak will do it but am not too sure about it - thank you | jayal (1291) | ||

| 478952 | 2006-08-17 11:40:00 | If you right-click+shift on an file you should see a menu option for "Open With" with XP as well. No registry hack required normally. | Jen (38) | ||
| 478953 | 2006-08-17 11:44:00 | Right-click and "open with" is native to all my 4 XP home installations here, from within Windows Explorer. No hacks have been applied, no "shift key" needed. | godfather (25) | ||
