| 479908 | 2006-08-21 10:09:00 | I use Incredimail and Netscape for my emails. On 8/8/2006 I received an email from a friend. after replying to this I received another and then another, since then I have received hundreds of the same email. All sent on 8/8/2006 at 12.07 pm. This only comes through on Netscape NOT incredimail. I have been unable to find a way to stop receiving these. I delete them as they come but still they come. Can someone help please. I have gone into extra mail and it is not there. This has only happened twicw and both times with the same person. |

| 479911 | 2006-08-21 11:18:00 | Then its some other computer in the chain, its highly unlikely your machine is duplicating INCOMING emails, there would be no point to that for the spammers. I suggest you block the email that is sending these, get your friend to use a different one, eliminate the problem. |

Is this the Netscape webmail you are using as I didn't realise they had an email client? Are you forwarding on your Xtra emails to the Netscape webmail, but downloading directly from Xtra in Incredimail? |

| 479913 | 2006-08-21 20:40:00 | Could you clarify a few things Do you have the same email address and email account set up in both Incredimail and Netscape mail. When you say you get hundreds of the same email do they come in bulk or one at a time each time you check your mail. If you have a look at the headers of the email you might find it is the same message but has passed through the mail servers at different times and dates which indicates it is actually being sent multiple times. If the sender is using a Microsoft Exchange server these can get into a loop and send out multiple Messages. If as you say it does not show in Xtra webmail then it has been downloaded by you and if you receive it again it must have been sent again probably by the fault in the senders mail server. |

The email is only coming up on Netscape and always has the same time and date. It only pops up when the computer is on. but I receive one about every 10 minutes. Even while I have been writting this I have received 5. |

If you close Netscape and do a mail check with Incredimail you should receive those messages in Incredimail if it is the same account. I still suspect it is the senders mail server causing this. Check the full headers of the message and post them here. Go to View/Headers/All to see all the details. |

| 479917 | 2006-08-21 21:29:00 | I use the two so as to utilise the different strengths of the two clients. I like to send / reply on Incredimail and receive and save on Netscape as Incredimail is not as reliable as Netscape, but not as boring. |
