479866 2006-08-21 09:50:00 G'day all,
I have an intermitent error message on outlook. When I try to send a message I get the following : Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Subject 'hello', Account: 'xyz@xtra.co.nz', Server: 'smtp.xtra.co.nz', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10053, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F.

When I try to send the message again it seems to go fine

Cheers

479867 2006-08-21 09:54:00 Have you got your Antivirus application scanning all outgoing emails? Try turning off that option and see if the error continues.

Also, I have edited your post to remove your email address otherwise it will be harvested by spam bots.
