| 480400 | 2006-08-24 09:22:00 | Hi and blessings to all but how the fork do you get rid of a user profiile in Win98 in an old-hand-me-down comp? I promise I have done a search here and the net but can't get it. TIA........m Keep thinking it must be a registry thing but can't find that either. :yuck: | mark c (247) | ||

Now Iv'e got another box w/out the original user's name in it and it says "if you don't put in a password this box won't appear again" which sounds good to me but if you don't put in a username it won't accept the no-password option and if you do put in a username it insists on the password. Jesus wept. forget it. I'm moving to linux soon as i can get a good 2nd hand external modem anyway. Thanks anyway. |

Once re-started, when the logon screen appears, just hit Escape. Do not click on OK with the login fields blank - that doesn't work the way I believe you're wanting. |
