When I attempt any action in Explorer I get the message: "Runtime Error: C:\Windows\Explorer.exe. This application has requested to terminate it in an unusual way. Contact Spport team ..." Previously I had no problem then when I opened Explorer I got the message. I am not aware of any unusual action on my part. I use WinXP. Any possible causes and fixes? |

I get this error on two separate computers running Windows XP when more than one user is logged in at once. Both were purchased from Dell. Does this match your situation? |

No. I am a single user on a new computer, not by Dell. I have done thorough checks with ZoneAlarm - virus and spyware - Spybot, and Ewido (anti-malware)
No trace of any virus/malware activity I can see. I suspect it is a corrupted file in Windows though what/why/how I don't know. |
