480373 2006-08-24 03:05:00 When I attempt any action in Explorer I get the message: "Runtime Error: C:\Windows\Explorer.exe. This application has requested to terminate it in an unusual way. Contact Spport team ..." Previously I had no problem then when I opened Explorer I got the message. I am not aware of any unusual action on my part. I use WinXP. Any possible causes and fixes? dkeall (5703)
480374 2006-08-24 05:21:00 I get this error on two separate computers running Windows XP when more than one user is logged in at once. Both were purchased from Dell. Does this match your situation? TGoddard (7263)
480375 2006-08-25 05:16:00 No. I am a single user on a new computer, not by Dell. I have done thorough checks with ZoneAlarm - virus and spyware - Spybot, and Ewido (anti-malware)
No trace of any virus/malware activity I can see. I suspect it is a corrupted file in Windows though what/why/how I don't know.
