| 480170 | 2006-08-22 21:18:00 | hi am wondering if anyone can shed some light on which program uses MFEX (followed by various numbers).dll ? my pc has become very sluggish so i ran spybot S&D and Adaware after emptying my internet temp files and cookies. then i ran disk cleanup and defragged. while defragging i noticed the MFEX dlls were being moved and each one seemed to take forever to be moved. i googled for these dll's but came up with nothing. i also ran HJT but that didnt show anythiing abnormal either. i also did a search of my c drive searching hidden folders but nothing came up there either any ideas? am using XP, athlon 2600+, 520Ram Shione |

You can find MFEX-<number>.DAT files in the system restore folder under the System Volume Information folder. They won't come up under a search because by default only SYSTEM has permissions in the SVI folder. |
