| 480104 | 2006-08-22 11:26:00 | What is the best browser now? Opera gone free but it is still the best or it is Firefox now? | lightfoot (39) | ||
| 480105 | 2006-08-22 11:30:00 | Depends what features u like in both. Only thing that doesnt work in FF for me, is the password thing doesnt work without using some kind of script first. And Opera's tabs are better than FF's. At least u dont need plugins for Opera. For the tabs to work properly. |

Opera is supposed to be faster (though in what way I'm not sure) and supports Torrents as well as being customisable through widgets and features an inbuilt email program . Supports mouse gestures to speed up navigation . Opera also features full compatibility with Web standards . Firefox is a minimal browser that can be modified with the use of hundreds of extensions, doesnt quite have full compliance in standards but emails can be done separatly through Thunderbird, which is another Mozilla Product . My personal preference is Firefox . :) Either way, both kicks IE's arse and testicles if it had any . |

Can't understand why more people don't use it (or if they do they don't sing it's praises very loudly!!!).For those that want them it also includes Chat and a Composer. | golfer (6609) | ||

| 480111 | 2006-08-22 20:05:00 | Opera wins hands down for built in features, but firefox seems to be more geeky with lots of extensions that can be added. I use opera, but miss Adblock in firefox. I also like the colored tabs extension in firefox as well. |

| 480112 | 2006-08-22 20:39:00 | Don't know why my Opera is slower than Fire Fox. Any particular version of Opera is better, the free or pay versions? | lightfoot (39) | ||
| 480113 | 2006-08-22 21:03:00 | I like Opera tabs. It still loads the same tabs the next time Opera is opened, if the tabs were not closed before closing down Opera. Any other browsers have this function? |
