| 481205 | 2006-08-29 19:58:00 | Hi, My problem is when playing any game after about 5 mins the screen goes black and i get the no signal message the pc remains on so press restart and everything back to normal.Have all the lastest drivers and direct x also have run dx diag and it sayes no problem. The pc performs fine using windows ie web browsing and any word or standard windows progs. Any ideas would be helpfull pc has been fine for over 2 years System AMD64 3800 Epox 9NPA ULTRA 1Gb Corsair Ram XFX6600GT |

| 481206 | 2006-08-29 20:10:00 | Going black usually indicate a video card going south . . . er . . . to NZ'rs it means dying . I think it might be from the intense use of the card when you are gaming . . . . and using the internet isn't that much drag on the card so you can succeed to use it normally . Add the load of anti-aliasing and rapid refresh rates to make a game look good, takes a lot of resource and the card's pooping out . . . or was never up to the job in the 1st place . I don't suspect losing power from the PSU or anything . . . but I might be wrong . What vid card are you using . . what system . . . what games don't work . . etc . . . etc . |
