| 480976 | 2006-08-27 10:01:00 | Anyone got any ideas why my monitor is shut down during the installation? A new 250Gb HD, 768ram thats tested ok, AMD 2000 & a Gigabyte MB. HD installed ok, recognised by bios, formatted NTFS, does the copying files bit ok, reboots, then after a couple of minutes of it installing windows the monitor shuts down, but the computer's still running but not installing | Phil B (648) | ||
| 480977 | 2006-08-27 23:55:00 | What combination of modules is the RAM? Have you ensured they are in the correct slots and are compatible? It may have tested OK but the big test is installing an OS so try removing a stick or two and see what happens. | FoxyMX (5) | ||
