| 480901 | 2006-08-27 03:31:00 | I recently bought a philips Go - Gear 512 mb mp3 device when I plu it in the USB port it doesn't automaticly open a pormpt to view etc or appear in the my computer window - it does however show up the safely remove icon on the windows tool bar - I have not probs with my video cam or normal digital cam on the same ports any wisdom - it doesn't make any difference if plugged into USB 1 or 2 ports I hope I can get visibility of this - to be able to download upload stuff Any wisdom appreciated Ddawg |

| 480902 | 2006-08-30 11:27:00 | I have found on investogation that in the device manager it is recognising the 512mb as a USB Mass Storage device - but no drive or letter is being assigned in My Computer - hope this might shed some light on someone being able to post a reply to me - I am posting again as I am getting frustrated at not being able to download to it at home - I can at work.
