481314 2006-08-30 01:54:00 I wanted to d/l Mcafee siteadvisor as mentioned in the PC WORLD Sept. The site said I need Firefox or IE(not).I currently use Mozilla as my browser and always thought FF was part of the Mozilla set up. In fact Mozilla's site names it as Mozilla Firefox. When I look in the PCWORLD Aug. I see two separate Browsers.Moz and FF. Could someone please enlighten me as to the tie up. gradebdan (2186)

SiteAdvisor currently works with Internet Explorer and Firefox.
SiteAdvisor intends to support additional browsers in the future, and we appreciate the enthusiastic reception of SiteAdvisor by users of many different browsers. We do not have a firm timetable for additional browser support, but we will make announcements when additional browser plug-ins become available.

Firefox might have been written by th Mozilla guys but it is now a different thing altogether.
Like Win3.1 and WinXP.

Just use it from their website rather than as a plug-in. Works for me. (Mozilla user)
