| 481568 | 2009-01-20 03:36:00 | This happened to me as well and it started with just booting up games, but now it will go off when i watch a youtube video and i have to restart to stop it. I dont know if this will get answered, seeing as how the last reply was in 2006, but i would surely like to know what to do with this problem. I know it has something to do with overheating, but how to solve it, i dont know. | sneakyplatypus (11066) | ||
| 481569 | 2009-01-20 06:39:00 | Welcome to PF1 sneakyplatypus, its always better to start a new thread when the threads are so old but it seems to either be an overheating problem or a fan that's either wearing out or dirty, I would open up your case and very carefully vacuum out all the dust and see if that fixes it. make sure you turn the power off to the computer at the wall while you do this | gary67 (56) | ||
| 481570 | 2009-01-20 09:06:00 | [QUOTE=I have 2 screens so I watch the temps and fan speeds and that is the little 40cm chipset fan winding up to 7000rpm that causes mine. [/QUOTE] wow, what do you consider a big fan then? |

| 481571 | 2009-01-20 09:42:00 | It's a CPU overheating warning sound. The BIOS thinks your CPU is getting too hot (and it probably is) Download something like SpeedFan and check the temperature when you play .. see what it's at and tell us.. |
