482493 2006-09-04 03:21:00 hey folks. i recently bought a samsung digimax35 mp3 combo camera. can't get the drivers to install correctly.
used disk that came with it - says the serial # on camera is wrong.
downloaded driver for it - now it hangs up when asked for win98 disk -
it can't seem to find the:
ks.sys
stream.sys
mspclock.sys
files on the disk.
No sound card is loaded into computer, but can't see how that would be that big a problem.
Any ideas on how to install drivers?
Anyone know which exact file contains the .sys files I need? Thinking I can extract them and load them and solve this problem.
Thanx for the help people. I'm fresh out of ideas here.:groan:

482494 2006-09-04 06:53:00 Does it have a setup.exe or install.exe file?

If so did u run it?

Did u put the windows cd in, in case the files that are needed are on it?

482496 2006-09-04 22:48:00 Hmmm, how old is this computer of yours?

You say you: (downloaded driver for it - now it hangs up when asked for win98 disk -)

I’ve struck two older machines that refused to recognise digital cameras even though the cameras came with Win98 drivers.

In the end I put it down to the BIOS in the uncooperative machines.
