Is the SSL option ticked?

What email are you scanning normal ISP email, or something like Gmail, which uses SSL

482485 2006-09-04 07:07:00 just normal isp (xtra) mail. This problem doesn't happen every time though. Rather intermittent.About 50% of the time I think.I have also disabled virus scanning on out going mail but I am reluctant to get rid of the incoming scan. joemac (9739)
482486 2006-09-04 07:09:00 Find the secure/SSL option, and see if its ticked. And untick it.

I think thats why that error is coming up. I dont think any ISP email uses SSL.

Only Secure Remote with Xtra uses SSL.
If SSL is already unticked then:

Secure(SSL): No
Disable incoming mail scan in your anti-virus for a check.
Are you only getting this massage when you start Outlook or do you get it when you do a manual send/Receive as well.
