482137 2006-09-02 04:39:00 :help: Does anyone out there use the Telecom Security Suite? I was thinking about it, but, $7.95 on top of broadband is getting a bit ruff, :2cents: . Be interesting in hearing from others on this. Ian. :badpc: ianhnz (4263)
482138 2006-09-02 04:43:00 Never heard of it. Speedy Gonzales (78)
482139 2006-09-02 04:44:00 It is this (xtra.co.nz) product for Xtra customers. Jen (38)
482140 2006-09-02 04:50:00 All you are buying is McAfee security suite.
So basically antivirus and firewall with bits and bobbs added to it.
I have used McAfee before and it's good, but it's a bit of a system resource hogger to be honest.
Just get Zone Alarm free and AVG free and you will save $7.95 a month.:2cents:

You can just buy it you know, you don't need to rent it from Telecom .

But go with Fishys suggestion, just as good and miles cheaper . Free in fact .

482143 2006-09-02 06:34:00 It would probably work out as good as renting a $29.95 telecom phone for $48 per year. Agent_24 (57)
482144 2006-09-02 08:38:00 I use MicroTrend Internet Security on one of the work computers, seems to be a good value for money. developer (4447)
