| 482773 | 2006-09-05 09:03:00 | I have just installed and am running XP Home. I've been using using Eudora since 1996, starting out with lite and have never had any problems with the programme. I'm now using version 7. I have two accounts on this machine, my own and my wife's. Eudora 7 works fine in my account, but I have encountered a hitherto unknown problem in my wife's account. When I try to open Eudora in her account I am greeted by the following message: "Could not open C:\program files\qualcomm\eudora\descmap.pce for reading. Cause: Access may be marked as read only or locked (13)." I wonder if anyone has any idea on how I can remedy this problem? |
