| 482601 | 2006-09-04 22:35:00 | Hi guys At work I need to get a webcam to monitor the pilot flame of a smallish gas-fired boiler that is sitting on a roof (the damn pilot goes out and you only notice it when the water goes cold). Should be able to be fixed to a wall or something. Any ideas where I should look? Or perhaps just a camera-thingie connected to a TV? Thanks Sarel |

A better sheltered environment around it, an alarm the sounds if it go out even. Anything is better than a web cam idea, thats just being geeky! |

Yeah I know Solmeister - eventually we will have a proper alarm system that links thru to our pagers but in the mean time it's quite a hassle to get to the boiler and I need to do something quickly. Already has a sheltered environment. One do not need 24/7 video watching, just the occasional check which we will set up with our security boys. sarel |
