| 483470 | 2006-09-09 07:20:00 | I plan on moving ISP's and wondering if you get to keep your email address? I know theres a fee if you want to do remote mail but I only plan to use their webmail. Looked on the Xtra website but it isn't very helpful and I haven't found an email to ask about it either. |

It is not common to retain a ".xtra.co.nz" email address if your ISP is someone else. Most people use a free Gmail address or similar for a more permanent identity, which means you can use any ISP. Or as I do, have you own domain name, then your address goes with you. |

| 483473 | 2006-09-09 21:20:00 | Its $2.50 to keep an email only account. Secure Remote is extra and doesn't work properly anyway. | pctek (84) | ||
| 483474 | 2006-09-09 21:56:00 | yeh you DONT need an internet 'account' to retain an email address......as pctek says its about $2.50 per month just to have an email account | drcspy (146) | ||
