483468 2006-09-09 03:40:00 Can anyone help me to choose a notebook for desktop replacement? I mean I want to use it for mobility and as a desktop replacement.
And currently does know when is the Memroe processor is going to be available on mobile PCs?
Can anyone give me some suggestion to get a cheaper notebook with safer features? I mean e.g. Dell and Apple notebook recently reported that their battery will cause fire and I don't know about HP and Compaq.
Currently I'm not really interested in DELL, Toshiba and Sony. Maybe Lenovo, Acer, Asus, HP and others. Suggestions? I saw an IBM T60 which cost a bit too much but probably the best notebook I've ever seen.
My requirements for a notebook is:
NEW Memroe processor, at least 512MB Ram, 60GB of above HDD, and comes with Windows Vista Ulimate. How much will this cost?
I'm not new to notebooks anyway. But the notebook I currently have is really crap and made in Taiwan with no brand.
So, I wanted to see if you guys can recomment me a good notebook or not, don't blame me being new to branded notebooks, I'm really new to those anyway.
Hope you guys can help me.
Many thanks,
Regards,
PedalSlammer.
