483122 2006-09-07 10:35:00 I've installed this, it crashes. I can send an error report.
I've tried system restores but it won't go back to the previous version.
Using XP SP2 with all updates downloaded, AMD Turion 2x64
Suggestions would be appreciated
Thanks
RobC

483123 2006-09-07 10:58:00 Hi Rob. Can't you just uninstall IE7 via the conventional way (i.e. uninstall it via Add / Remove programs option under Control Panel?).

Cheers and welcome to PressF1 :)

Hint: Firefox Rox

Thank you - I subsequently found instructions at MS support which got me back to IE6.
Does anyone esle use IE7 on an AMD 64 bit because it does not work on my other AMD 64 PC but it does on a P4.
Thanks again
RobC

To uninstall Internet Explorer 7 RC1 to return to Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP

Click "Start," and then click "Control Panel."
Click "Add or Remove Programs."
Check "Show Updates" at the top of the dialog box.
Scroll down the list and highlight the version of Internet Explorer 7 beta or RC1 that you are running, and then click "Change/Remove." (If you are running Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview — March 20 or later, it is not necessary to check "Show Updates.")
Go here and select the appropriate version of Internet Explorer 7 RC1 for your operating system.

483125 2006-09-08 02:02:00 At a guess it probably doesn't yet work with 64 bit systems, just 32 bit. rogerp (6864)
483126 2006-09-08 03:00:00 It's not finished yet. It will never be finished in the sense of being totally bug-free. :D Graham L (2)

483128 2006-09-08 03:48:00 The only thing IE7 has that FF does not have is problems.
More people will hopefully learn this over the next year or two while "waiting" for
VISTA

483129 2006-09-08 10:01:00 Yawn! Aren't all you MS bashers sick of hearing your own complaints yet? I sure am....if you don't like it, don't use it - thats your choice - but don't keep going on about it all the time for crying out loud! lamns (11103)
483130 2006-09-08 10:25:00 Firefox has its problems and current list of bugs people... I use it myself and know first hand. shaz (11107)
