483273 2006-09-08 05:25:00 I had to do a hard reset after my computer froze. Everything worked fine afterwards apart from that the screen resolution changed and I can not get it back. i have a Dell Inspirion 6000 with an ATI Mobility radeon X300. I have a wide-screen monitor in my notebook.
In the first instance it sta2ted up in 1024x768 mode with all the icons on the desktop too large and fuzzy. Now at 1920x1200 the icons seems like before, but I have to scroll the screen to see the corners and the start buttons for example. i recently used ccleaner, but going back to that restore point does not bring my back my right screen size. the thing is that quality of colour is optional 16 or 32 BBP, i have set this to 32. I looki at this by right clicking on the clicking on the screen and go to properties-settings.
This Dell has the more expensive screen that I got as free update at the time

What is wrong and what can I do?

cheers
