I am considering buying a large amount of computer hardware from Rainbow Technology Ltd. I was wondering if anyone has had or heard of them giving anyone any grief. Are they anything like supercheap or are they reliable?

483832 2006-09-12 04:00:00 Looks like a budget computer shop using os commerce like so many budget computer shops use. Based on the bad grammer on their website I wouldn't use them eg.

Note: We do not support for stock pick up and phone order service.

Alot of these budget stores have such small margins that they often go out of business within a few years, leaving you with no aftersales support.

I use ascent.co.nz, as I like the extra service they provide and no hassle refunds if something doesn't work.

I second that. Ascent may not be the cheapest, but you'll get top notch service from them.

This depends on how fast you pay for us.

Yes grammar is awful, however on PC Chat theres a discussion on English and those who have English as a second language.
I have used Overclockers as a supplier for different things for ages now and have always had excellent service from them. And Mings grammar is similar to this.
Likewise the guys at Synnex, you can't dismiss a company because their English is poor.

483835 2006-09-12 09:01:00 I third Ascent :thumbs: as mentioned they are not the cheapest, but their aftermarket sales support is amazing, as others have said, I am never going to go anywhere else...

As an example of their support, I got a HDD from them and not even a month after getting it started making unusual sounds and not showing up in the BIOS or Windows manys times, I E-Mailed them and they got me to send it back, before I know it there was a replacement, but they do do forward replacements, I have just not brought off them enough...
