| 483751 | 2006-09-10 12:17:00 | Ok, well we all know that updating display drivers can be good for games, but will it make any difference( picture quality)?? for example: watching music vids on you tube, media player or useing cam on msn/yahoo etc... I always new about gaming, but never really thought about it for other things i mentioned above. thanks all :) |

Traditionally updating vid drivers is to ensure compatibility with modern applications, be it games or anything else, and ensuring performance in graphics intensive applications, eg games, is up to speed. I think that unless you are using the 3D clock (gaming and 3D apps) on the card there is no need to update the drivers unless there is a major problem with them... |

Thanks for your input:) I didn't think it would make all that much difference(unless game side), i guess it was something I just thought of the other day, so thought i would post and see if it would or not, plus in case other people might have been wondering and just never posted. |
