483546 2006-09-09 22:44:00 Can anyone recommend a free firewall to replace my Zone Alarm as it no longer supports WIN98 SE. I use an oldish 266Mhz Compaq for email and the occasional time I need the web. I don't want the expense of XP (probably would not run too well on the old gunger anyway).
I have tried Agnitum Outpost but it only allows one update before telling you to buy the Pro version.
Any ideas?

483547 2006-09-09 22:50:00 I would have told you to try Comodo, but it doesnt support 98 either.

Only 2K/XP/2003 +.

Its not too bad for a free firewall. It is totally free. Once u get the code from the site, then activate it.

Why replace it? I still run version 4 of Zone Alarm. version 6.0 is still Win98 friendly.

Its got to be v60.667 NOT V65.731
I've still got the V60 version if you can't find one.
I keep it for all my Win98 customers....
