483952 2006-09-12 10:43:00 I have tryed Seagate Discwizard which detects it but needs a windows OS I think. But I am just gonna try telling it that I have one and see what happens joemac (9739)
483953 2006-09-13 07:42:00 OK so I tryed that and as far as I can tell i did a successful disk format but I still can't find it on the OS. I tryed the different SATA ports and they seem to correspond to 3rd master IDE, 3rd slave IDE, 4th master IDE and 4th slave IDE. joemac (9739)
483954 2006-09-13 08:22:00 The HDD has to be activated before you can see it... Go start, run then type "DISKMGMT.MSC" you then should see the drive, you will need to partition it and assign a drive letter and then it will appear in "My Computer" The_End_Of_Reality (334)
