| 483873 | 2006-09-12 22:25:00 | ok cheers tweak'e there are some screws for what looks like an 80mm fan at the back of the case, should i have that blowing out of the case or in? it doesnt look like there are any more places i can put fans, would it be a good idea to cut a hole in the top of the case and screw in a fan blowing upwards? since hot air rises... |

| 483874 | 2006-09-13 08:40:00 | fit the 80mm and it should be blow out of the rear of the case. fan at the top of the case are good when done correctly BUT IMHO unnecessary in most cases. also check the air inlet, if air can't get in fans won't help. a lot of the time cases haveairvents bottom front which can get clocked by carpet or papers on a desk. btw apologizes for me being slow.......take the side off the case and use a household fan to blow air into the case. if temps drop you know there is differently a case cooling problem. |
