| 483554 | 2006-09-09 23:53:00 | running XP with SP2 installed in the WINDOWS folder these files just keep on keeping on there are 54 entries now as e.g. $NtUninstallKB873339$, which expands to spuninst, to 4 other files, .exe .inf .txt .dll - most seem to be less than 1MB but there's one that's even bigger 5.3MB - at this rate they'll consume my hard drive eventually - are these okay? can they be safely deleted? what are they? can someone put my mind to rest please? |

| 483555 | 2006-09-09 23:55:00 | Most probably all the updates / patches for XP. The folders are most probably where the uninstall looks, if u uninstall the updates. |

| 483557 | 2006-09-10 00:11:00 | According to this (windowsxp.mvps.org) And this (www.askdavetaylor.com tml) You can. Just as long as u dont want to remove/uninstall the patches/hotfixes, if u have probs later. |
