Can anyone tell me how to fix the problem please

484503 2006-09-14 07:00:00 It looks like there might be a problem with your antivirus software.
Where it says localhost in your error message, that means OE is looking on your computer for the smtp server to send the email to, which is usually the antivirus software, which will check the email for viruses then send it on to your ISPs mail server.
Check your antivirus software is runny properly or change the SMTP server setting in Outlook Express from localhost to smtp.xtra.co.nz

I tried this without success- for some reason when I upgraded to AVG 7.5 it disabled my outgoing port. I had to go into the e-mail scanning set up and manually tick the outgoing box... what a PITA! All good now though!
