484390 2006-09-13 12:49:00 Hi all,

I recently signed up with xtra broadband and use the Dlink DSL-502T modem.
I use uTorrent for downloading files and I'm having a port forwarding problem. Apparently my port isnt open, I suspect the external modem is acting as firewall or whatever. I have a software firewall and worked fine with dial up.

It told me to goto this site www.portforward.com

But im having real difficulty and are confused.

Help would be appreciated

Thank you

484392 2006-09-13 13:12:00 The default username & password for the dsl-502t are admin & admin.
In uTorrent I would set it to use a certain port and not a random one each time you open it. Mine is set to 51128
Follow the instructions on portforward.com to get the port open.
